Welcome to your new life in Christ!

You have just made the most important, eternal, life altering decision of your life. Everything you’ve walked through has led to this moment—and this is only the beginning.

The Bible tells us that God loves you so much that He sent His one and only Son, Jesus, so that you could have a relationship with Him forever. Because of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, your sins are forgiven and you have a home in heaven.

As you begin this new life, it’s important to know who God is. The Bible shows us that God is one, but He reveals Himself in three persons: God the Father, who created you and loves you; Jesus the Son, who saved you; and the Holy Spirit, who now lives in you, guides you, and gives you strength to follow Him. You are not walking this journey alone—God is with you every step of the way.

As a church, we could not be more excited for you. We love you, we are praying for you, and we are so grateful to walk alongside you. The Gospel is a free gift—it’s simple and personal—but it will also begin to transform every part of your life. Because of that, being in community is not just helpful, it’s essential.

The Bible says that when we are in Christ, we become a new creation. Your old life is gone, and a new life has begun. In many ways, your true life has just started.

As a Church Leadership Team, we want you to know that this new life with Jesus is the best life you could ever live. And part of following Him means being connected to His people. We have many opportunities throughout the week for you to build relationships, grow in your faith, and find your place in the church.

We would love to know about the decision you made today. It would be a joy to meet you, get to know you, and help you get connected here at The Harbor—or support you in getting plugged into a church where you can grow.

We have a few resource to help you get started:

First, the Bible.
We believe the Word of God is alive and active. As you read it, you will come to know Jesus more and more. A great place to begin is the book of John. John is one of the four Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—which tell the story of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection.

Second, the book Follow Jesus.
This is a helpful guide to walk you through what it looks like to live out your new life in Christ.

Third, our digital Connect Card.
Please take a moment to fill out this digital connect card. This is an important step—it helps us connect with you and get you into a community where you can grow. We offer smaller groups that meet throughout the week, and we would love to help you find one.

Please come up to the front after service and meet our team in front of the drum cage to pick up these resources!
