Why a Legacy Fund?

The Legacy Fund is for a new central location for our church. A new building would enable us to expand the breadth of our ministres beyond Sundays and current functions to a more holistic, integrated model of church. Our dream is to build something for generations to come; to have a stake in the community and in the expansion of God’s Kingdom. We want to construct care rooms for people in need, expand our food pantry, build a private space for bible studies and community meetings. We want to create a larger sanctuary built with families in mind, expand the office space for our growing staff and make a studio for podcasting and song recording. We want to  have PLENTY OF PARKING, adequate space for kids and youth and so much more. 

As we follow the Lord’s prompting to move our church, we ask that you would pray about joining this movement both spiritually and financially. Our goal is to raise $2.25 million so that we are prepared when the right opportunity arises. We cannot think of a better way to serve this community as the Lord continues creating a unique legacy on Long Island through The Harbor Church.
