Welcome to Harbor Marriage! My name is Vinnie and this is my wife Marianne and we have the privilege of overseeing the marriage ministry at The Harbor Church. This page is THE place to get information on what we offer to our married, or … soon to be married couples. We believe at The Harbor that no matter how long you have been married or how good your marriage currently is, you can make it even better as you draw closer to God, making room for Him to help you grow closer as a couple.
Our philosophy is simple... God at the center of our marriages (Proverbs 4:12) guarantees our success! His Holy Spirit shows us how to walk together & grow closer to each other, not only for our benefit, but to showcase to others what marriage should look like with God involved!
We also believe it's vital to never stop being a "Student of Marriage"! No matter how long you've been married, be committed to continued learning while surrounding yourselves with other couples who feel the same & share your faith. It is a wonderful experience to share with and support other couples in our community during both the best of times as well as the challenging seasons!
2nd Fridays
Hello, MARRIED COUPLES! At 7:30 PM on the 2nd Friday of each month, we would like to invite you to join with other married couples as we invest in our marriages in a practical way! Our goal is to provide you with helpful tools, encouragement, biblically based insight, and a chance to form community with others who believe their marriages can continue to grow and thrive through the many seasons of life.
2nd Fridays fosters a great environment that provides a safe place to be encouraged in all thing’s "Marriage", as we share challenges & commonalities, laugh at our differences, and make friends.
Each month we will not only prepare something around a monthly topic or theme for you and your spouse, but work to make it a lighthearted and enjoyable night at the end of your long week!
You'll find everything from Harvest themes to Valentine celebrations, to help you honor your love!! One month an Ice Cream Social, another featuring holiday pies, all planned to make it a relaxed atmosphere where we can also discuss important topics that will help your marriage relationship grow! We inevitably will have a few laughs all while helping you to keep your relationship with each other and the Lord front and center!
We realize that not every couple can join us every month, but please don't let that keep you from coming whenever you can! We don't take attendance =)
Lastly, if you’d like to get involved in a ministry together, this is the place to volunteer! There are enough jobs for everyone to be a part of what God is doing in this area of ministry, even if it's serving once a quarter!

premarital counseling
Recently Engaged? CONGRATULATIONS!!
The Harbor offers a 5-week premarital course 3 times a year in October, February, & May. The goal is to set you up for a successful, God-honoring Marriage.
This course is for you if:
You plan on being married by one of the Pastors at The Harbor.
You attend The Harbor, have been recently married, but never received premarital counseling.
You attend The Harbor and would like to prepare for marriage even though a Harbor Pastor is not marrying you, and you have a wedding date.
You are aligned with The Biblical Statements of Belief outlined by The Harbor Church.
Next Steps:
First, email Kim in the office with your contact information @ kim@theharborli.com and request The Biblical Statements of Belief and Prerequisites Packet.
After you have read through the packet together, fill in the requested information, sign, and return it to Kim. It will be submitted for approval.
Once approved, your wedding will be added to our calendar.
Don’t Delay! Please register giving yourself enough time to complete your 5-week class. We suggest registering 6-12 months before your wedding date to ensure you have enough time to complete the reading and homework assignments.
